Stina Nordskog
Stina Nordskog is the latest addition to the Roller Records artist roster. Stina is 19 years old and lives in Krokstadelva south east of Norway’s Capitol, Oslo. Her debut EP "My Journey, Part 1" is now available on Spotify, Apple Music and other streaming platforms.
She started out taking guitar and vocal lessons from Roller Records artist, Berdon Kirksaether six years ago and has come a long way as an artist and songwriter. Stina started writing her own songs two years ago and is featured with three self-penned songs on her debut EP: Should I Stay on the Ground, My Lake and 100 Metaphors. Crossing My Own Path Lately was co-written with Berdon and The Way Life Goes On was written by Berdon.
Stina sings with a mature voice with a lot of warmth and an ability to connect to the listener, reaching far beyond her young age. Her songs contain a distinct originality with strong and poignant melodies, with hints of artists like Joni Mitchell and other singer/songwriters, yet sounding fresh and original.
We at Roller Records are proud to welcome Stina to what we believe will be a very interesting career!
Stina’s first record was recorded, mixed and produced by Berdon Kirksaether at Burudstua Salon in Norway July-August 2020.
